In the 2024/2025 academic year, Eric Jacobson has been serving as a temporary adjunct professor at the prestigious School of Music at DePaul University. He is currently teaching courses in the jazz trumpet studio, jazz improvisation, and jazz combo.
Jazz Clinician/Guest Artist
Eric Jacobson is a seasoned jazz clinician and guest artist, having worked with colleges, high schools, and middle schools across the country. His passion for teaching and passing on his knowledge is evident in his interactions with students. Over the years, Eric has developed highly effective strategies to help students succeed in various areas, including improvisation, jazz phrasing, and mastering the intricacies of playing in both small and large ensembles.
