Eric Jacobson has been a forefront of Jazz Education in the Milwaukee area for over twenty years. Over the years Eric Jacobson has worked with thousands of jazz students at programs such as Myso jazz studies, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Eric Jacobson has directed several award winning small groups in Milwaukee and has had his groups perform at the National Mingus Competition and the JEN Conference.

 Eric Jacobson is the Jazz Education Director for the Milwaukee Jazz Institute. Eric is teaching Jazz Theory classes,High school combo groups, Adult combo groups and Big Band. The Milwaukee Jazz Institute will help Eric Jacobson's mission by bringing the music of jazz into the school systems with performances/workshops/residencies.

Jazz Clinician/Guest Artist

Eric Jacobson has been a Jazz Clinician and Guest Artist for many Colleges, High Schools and Middle Schools. Eric truly has a passion to pass his knowledge to the students.Throughout the years Eric has developed very useful strategies to help the students succeed in many topics such as: Improvisation, jazz phrasing, learning the intricacies to play in small and large Ensembles.
